What is osteopathy?
Osteopathy is a manual therapy that aims to help the body regain its natural balance. It relies on anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics to understand how joints, muscles, organs, and the nervous system interact.
Rather than treating only the symptom, the osteopath considers the body as a whole in order to find the cause. Using gentle techniques, they intervene on several levels: articular, muscular, fascial, visceral, and cranial.
When certain structures lose their mobility, this can lead to tension, pain, or compensatory movements elsewhere in the body. The osteopath's role is therefore to restore mobility to the tissues, allowing the body to function better and regain a more harmonious state of health.
Osteopathy is suitable for people of all ages, from infants to seniors.
